Vancouver Canucks forward Alex Burrows will not play in Game 4 tonight against the Calgary Flames after suffering an injury during practice.

According to multiple reports, Burrows appeared to be in pain as he left the ice at the Saddledome in Calgary, and was taken on a stretcher to an ambulance outside the arena.

Details of the injury were not immediately known.

The Canucks announced in a tweet that Burrows would not play after he "sustained an upper body injury & was taken to hospital after practice this morning for precautionary reasons."
