Toronto police are expected to update the public today on their investigation into the deaths of two young people at the Veld music festival.
Police said two people died and 13 others fell ill after ingesting unidentified "party drugs" that they purchased over the weekend at the two-day event.
The homicide squad is leading the investigation.
Those who attended the weekend festival are being warned by police not to ingest any drugs purchased at the event.
"People are dying because they are ingesting this drug," Deputy Chief Mark Saunders told reporters on Monday.
The update on the investigation is likely to come this afternoon.
