Lawyers for Michael Brown's family said today the results of a private autopsy on the remains of the 18-year-old from Ferguson, Mo., show he was shot six times.

"It verifies that the witness accounts were true, that he was shot multiple times," said Michael Crump, a civil rights lawyer who is representing the family.

Dr. Michael M. Baden, a doctor and former New York City chief medical examiner who performed the autopsy requested by the family, added that, "Yes, he could have survived all of these gunshot wounds, except the for one at the top of the brain."

Baden there was no sign of a struggle with police.
